Limpopo (zoo)

One of the most interesting and prominent places of Lviv region is the Medenetsky zoo”Limpopo”. Here you can feel the unity with the animal world; see in all its glory predators, primates, and many exotic birds. The peculiarity of the zoo is the white lions and tigers, whose beauty the guests of the zoo admire every day.

How to get there:  Via Medenichy there is a Lviv-Drohobych bus route and Lviv-Truskavets and in the opposite direction.

There is also a direct route № 137 Drohobych (bus station) – Medenichi and № 151 Drohobych  – Medenichi – Gorodok. The distance between the settlements is 19 km. Move from Drohobych along the road  T 1418 and then next to Katyusha turn to T 1421. Approximate time on the road is 23 minutes.

Naguevichi

This village is well-known to almost every Ukrainian: it is the place where Ivan Franko was born and where he spent his entire childhood. During his studying in Drohobych and Lviv, Ivan Franko often visited his home village. Also, he came here with his family on holidays or for work.

State Historical and Cultural Reserve “Naguyevychi” is located in the village Naguevychi, Drohobych district, Lviv region – the birthplace of Ivan Franko. The reserve complex includes:

• memorial (literary) house I.Franko,
• Museum-estate of parents of Ivan Franko
• Art and Memorial Complex “Paths of Ivan Franko”.
